CREATING A CULTURAL CROSSROAD
Lillehammer Foundation for the Arts (LFA) is a non-profit organization that has taken the initiative to support the economic and cultural growth in Lillehammer, Norway and the region. The focus will be through music, film and television. There will also be other events and projects in close cooperation with the Municipality of Lillehammer, the County of Oppland, as w
ell as other private and public organizations. Steven Van Zandt, known from Bruce Springsteen's "E-Street Band", the global TV phenomena "Sopranos", and now the hit show "Lilyhammer" - which is shown in over 170 countries - has taken the initiative of creating the LFA. In addition to Steven Van Zandt, partners in the LFA include Lillehammer Olympiapark (represented by CEO Erik Ulateig), Henrik Baugstø (long-time collaborator with Steven Van Zandt in Scandinavia), and former Olympic Ticketing Director and founder of Norway Communicates David John Smith.
