The climate crisis is a humanitarian crisis.
The devastating flash floods in Nepal and China are a stark reminder of the risks communities face as the planet warms.
Across the Himalayas, glacier ice loss has doubled since 2000, increasing the threat of floods and other hazards downstream.
But this is not only a Himalayan issue. Climate change is intensifying extreme heat, drought, floods, storms, wildfires and disease around the world.
Those least responsible often suffer the most.
