UNITY FOR HUMANITY
Many families and communities in Nepal have faced a huge difficulty due to recent floods and
landslides.
With the heartfelt condolences and prayers, I would like to extend my sympathies to all those involved in this disaster and affected by it in some way or other, I pray for safety, strength and comfort for all of those who are losing, displaced and uncertain and for the safe return of those who still have not come home.
Last but not least, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, Armed Police Force, healthcare workers, volunteers, local communities and all frontline responders who are still working hard – and at times at great personal risk – to save and help those who are in need.
My prayers are also with the animals and livestock who have been impacted by these floods and landslides. Everyone's life is valuable and I hope that they too are cared for and protected in this difficult time.
Lions Club of Kathmandu Mimosa Youth joins in solidarity with all affected communities, inspired by the spirit of Unity for Humanity. Our members are ready to contribute to relief efforts and to coordinate collection and distribution of relief supplies to those who need them. Unity is our greatest strength when we are in difficult times. Together, united in compassion, service and humanity, we can offer hope to those in need and help communities recover and rebuild stronger.
There's a lion where there is a need.
