In many parts of the Madhes, there is a winter vacation. Cold waves have had a severe impact on daily life in this region, and we are making every possible effort to provide support.
We made a small effort to ease this winter for 60 children from the Musahar settlement of Baghchaura by providing warm clothes and shoes. There is also an issue of school dropout among children in this community.
We believe that wearing new clothes may encourage children to feel motivated to go to school. In fact, it was observed that the lack of proper clothing has been one of the reasons why some children do not attend school.This experience was shared by Manish Sahani (a member of Starts Foundation), who has been working directly with this community.Nevertheless, our efforts will continue.
