About Grassroots Development Foundation

Grassroots Development Foundation (GDF) is a non-profit organization, which works to enhance the capacity of Dalit and other marginalized groups. It helps to modernize indigenous occupations/skill by providing training on different discipline for their well-being. Besides, it contributes by raising grassroots human rights issues to fulfill gross Human righ

GDF also aims to develop entrepreneurship and creates employment opportunities in different areas by promoting of local skills and technology to make compatible by using modern tools and techniques. It does advocacy to prepare of substantive policy and plan. Which ultimately contributes to enrich socio-economic and cultural rights of Dalit and marginalized groups of grassroots community in Nepal by ensuring promotion and protection of Human rights. Now, GDF is together in INCLUDE project as consortium organization with CDWN, DWA and LARC in Dolakha district by support of ELCA, LWF and also involved in different training and programs to support preparation and implementation of policy and plan in grassroots level.
