HMIS ICT Unit, Department of Roads Department of Roads, Planning and Monitoring Branch, HMIS-ICT Unit It operates the EGP of PPMO.

HMIS-ICT unit is one of the units under the Planning and Design Branch at the Department of Roads. This unit is the integration of two different Information systems as follows:


(1) Highway Management and Information System (HMIS)
HMIS carries out surveys of roads and collects and stores data from IRI (International Roughness Index), SDI (Surface Distress Index), and Traffic Count. (2) Informatio

n and Communication Technology (ICT)
This unit monitors and manages the different online applications running under the Department of Roads. Also, it monitors and manages the Data Center and Data Recovery Site under the Department. It also operate and monitor the website and Internet services of the Department.
