HELP US 👇🏼

We are the animal welfare organisation actively working to help the animals in need since 2015. We have been taking care of more than 200 animals in our vegan sanctuary located at Bhaisepati, Karyabinayak, which comprises of community dogs, and farm animals like abandoned cows, buffaloes and pigs which had been rescued/ escaped from the slaughterhouse, goats and sheep. We have broaden our areas t

o different sectors so that we can help as much animals as we can. We have been working in three different levels;
Micro Level: We perform the rescue and rehabilitation for the injured animals and help them find a lovely home. We conduct animal birth control surgeries and mass anti-rabies vaccinations. To which, we had been able to help more than 24000 animals in need, conducted more than 12000 animal birth control surgeries, and vaccinated more than 37000 community animals. Mezzo Level: We collaborate with the community people to spread awareness on animal welfare and plant-based diets. We conduct several school and community education programs, where we reach a large number of people to understand about animal welfare and build compassion for animals. Till date, we have educated more than 4,58,000 people through school education and sensitised more than 24000 people through the community based programs. Macro Level: We do advocacy and lobby with the government for the policy formulation, policy implementation, amendments, welfare standard development, for ensuring that these policies would help in regulating the animal welfare. We have been advocating for the formulation of Animal Welfare Act in Nepal. Similarly, in collaboration with the Animal Quarantine Office we have been actively engaged in conducting cross-checks investigation at the checkpoints where the live animals are being transported into the Valley. We check whether the animals are being transported correctly or not. If not, we tend to reach out to the drivers and caretakers and educated/ aware them know about basic rules to be followed as per mentioned in the Live Animal Transportation Standard, 2064. Our core areas of work can be seen in various areas such as:
- Dog Population Management
- Rescue and Rehabilitation
- Veganism Promotion
- Advocacy and Campaigns
- Farm Animal Welfare
- Working Animal Welfare
- Ban Live Animal Transportation
- Wildlife Animal Welfare
- Animal in Disaster
You can kindly be a part of our journey by helping us in any way you would like to. You can volunteer with us, adopt the dogs / sponsor any dog or farm animal. Or you can kindly donate for the well-being of our community animals. With your support, we can reach and aid more animals in need.

What once felt like home was suddenly consumed by devastation.

Amid the ruins left behind by the floods in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, we found animals still holding on. They had endured the danger, but the path ahead remains uncertain. Without continued assistance, many may struggle to find the nourishment, treatment, and protection they need to recover.

What happens next depends on what we choose to do now.
Sneha’s Care remains committed to continuing its flood-relief response, but we need your support to make it possible. Every contribution helps bring essential assistance closer to the animals and families whose lives have been changed by this disaster.

Please help us carry hope back to them.

For animals affected by the floods, survival was only the beginning.

When the floodwaters tore through their communities, many animals had nowhere to run and no one who could reach them in time. Some were swept away. Those who survived were left injured, hungry, frightened, and separated from the families and places they once called home.

Even now, their suffering continues. Our first response helped them survive, but recovery cannot end there. We are going to continue returning, treating, feeding, protecting, and standing beside them for as long as they need us.

The flood may have passed, but their emergency has not.
Please stand with the animals and families rebuilding their lives after this devastating disaster. Your support can bring relief to their pain, hope to their recovery, and remind them that they have not been forgotten.

We Are Going Back for Those Still Waiting

During our first response in Rasuwa and Nuwakot, we witnessed the devastating impact of the floods on animals and affected families.
Many animals remain injured, hungry, displaced, and without safe shelter, while families facing severe losses are struggling to care for the animals who survived.

Our work is not finished. Sneha’s Care will return next week with essential supplies for affected animals and families. The situation remains critical, and continued support is essential.
Please stand with the animals and families still facing this emergency.

🚨 URGENT FLOOD RELIEF APPEAL — WE ARE GOING BACK 🚨

We are preparing to return to the flood-affected areas once again, and we urgently need your support before we leave.
The flood may have passed, but for many animals, the emergency is still far from over.

During our previous response, we found many animals struggling in the aftermath of the disaster. Many are still facing hunger, injuries, loss of shelter, and limited access to veterinary care. They need food, treatment, and continued support before their condition becomes even more critical.

At the same time, many affected families are trying to recover from devastating losses while continuing to care for the animals who survived.
Sneha’s Care is going back with essential supplies for animals and affected families. The items we urgently need are listed in this post, and we need to collect them as soon as possible for our upcoming field response.

If you can contribute any of the required items, please come forward now. Animal feed, veterinary supplies, shelter materials, food, hygiene essentials, and other necessary supplies can make an immediate difference on the ground.

The animals who survived the flood still need food, treatment, shelter, and care. They cannot wait.

To our valued supporters,

We cannot thank you enough for walking this difficult path alongside Sneha’s Care.

Our rescue teams spent the last four days on the ground in Nuwakot and Rasuwa, facing the harsh reality of this disaster. The scale of loss is overwhelming: families have lost everything they owned, and frightened, injured animals are left completely on their own without shelter or protection.

Your generosity makes our return to these stricken regions possible. We are returning with emergency food, critical medical supplies, and basic necessities to support both the human and animal survivors who have been left behind by the chaos.

Every member of our team is fully invested in bringing comfort and safety back to these communities. We are deeply grateful that you have chosen to place your trust and support in our hands.

To all animal lovers, we need your support. ❤️🙏

Our team from Sneha’s Care, Nepal Animal Welfare Research Center, KAT UK, and Voice of Animal Nepal is working to help animals affected by this devastating disaster.

The situation is heartbreaking. Many animals are suffering, hungry, injured, and waiting for help. Some of the worst-affected areas are blocked by rivers, making it very difficult for us to reach them. We are searching for alternative ways to reach Rasuwa and Betrabati.

We will do everything we can, but we cannot do this alone.

If you can, please support us to help these innocent lives. Every little help can make a difference. ❤️🐾

🚨 Heading to the Field for Emergency Animal Relief

In response to the devastating floods in Rasuwa and surrounding areas, Sneha’s Care team, together with KAT Centre , Voan Nepal , and Nepal Animal Welfare and Research Center - NAWRC are heading to the affected communities to assess the situation of animals and provide rescue, treatment, food, medicines, and other urgent assistance wherever possible.

The full extent of the impact on livestock and community animals is still unknown. We are travelling with essential supplies, but the situation on the ground may require much more support.

Please support us if you can, and help us share this appeal. Together, we can ensure that animals are not forgotten during this emergency.
