Most children are from a remote, mountainous area of Nepal called Mustang. Mustang is dedicated to preserving one of the last Tibetan communities, yet it has extremely harsh living conditions because of its poor quality of land and remote location in the mountains. Due to this, many natives of the area have dietary deficiencies and suffer from diseases, as they lack access to basic things like med

icine, food, water, power and education. Therefore Himalayan Children Care Home is a necessary organization in ensuring that children from this region have a chance at life.
