UGC Nepal organised a "Refresher Program" on 8th December, 2019 to the Roster of Assessors who are expected to be mobilized as peer review assessors to assess the Higher Education Institutions for institutional accreditation. Prof. Dr. Bhim Prasad Subedi, the Chairman of UGC addressed the participating professors and emphasized for quality assessment from the PRT members . The key speaker of the program was Prof. E.B Khedkar, Vice Chancellor of DY Patil University, Pune, India. He highlighted Indian Practices of Peer Review for institutional accreditation. The Director of Quality Assurance and Accreditation Division, Dr. Rishikesh Pandey welcomed the participating professors. The refresher program was further facilitated by Prof. Dr Shiba Kumar Rai and Prof. Dr Mana Prasad Wagle . A total of 62 professors attended the program in which, 26 were new members in the roster list.

The UGC provides Travel Grant (up to Rs. 60,000) to university teachers and the recipients of the UGC research grant and PhD fellowship to participate in any international conference to present keynote speech, oral presentation or poster presentation based on the researches conducted by the applicant.
You can apply throughout the year before you travel.
