Travel writer Terry Ward (and her friend's husband - nothing scandalous, promise) spent a week exploring Niue and even bumped into our very own 'Honeyman' Andy who had a great time showing them our special bees.
A lovely peek into what a holiday on Niue feels like. It might even tempt you to visit our remote island, where looking after nature is second nature. Bring a friend. Or even a friend's spouse.😄

Old friends, lost love and a milestone birthday make a dream trip to the South Pacific island of Niue that much more meaningful.

Sydney, we’ll be at the Fine Food Australia event Sept 8-11. Pop on in and sample, arguably, the most important honey on Earth.
Straight from our Pacific Bee Sanctuary.

Pacific Trade Invest (PTI) Australia is thrilled to be hosting Niue Honey Company at this year’s Pacific Showcase at Fine Food Australia! Supporting bee preservation, Niue Honey bottles rare and exquisite honey that comes from the last-known colony of clean, healthy bees on Earth.

“What we're most looking forward to at this year’s Fine Food Australia is the chance to introduce Niue Honey to a whole new market. It's an incredible opportunity to share our story. From our pristine, disease-free island origin to our award-winning flavour. With a concentrated audience of fine food retailers, distributors, and chefs who truly appreciate quality and provenance, having so many key players in one place makes it the perfect setting to build relationships, spark interest, and explore where Niue Honey can fit into the premium Australian food landscape” - Richard Duncan

Come and meet the Niue Honey team at Fine Food Australia, from Monday September 8 to Thursday September 11 at the ICC in Sydney. Registration is available at: www.finefoodaustralia.com.au/pre-qualification-form-2025

We are profoundly honoured that His Majesty King Charles III was presented with a with a special gift of Niue Honey during a reception at Lancaster House in London.

As a passionate beekeeper himself, he truly understands what makes this gift so unique. This is honey from a place of global significance: our Pacific Bee Sanctuary on Niue, home to the world's last-known, sufficiently isolated disease-free bees.

Presented by Niue's Minister of Natural Resources, Hon. Mona Ainu'u, alongside an Ocean Conservation Commitment in his name, the gift was a symbol of our shared dedication to the planet. We are delighted to know His Majesty was moved and deeply grateful.

A taste of pure nature, gifted in the spirit of keeping it that way.

Our thanks to Minister Ainu'u and the team at for representing Niue with such distinction on the world stage.

Record high losses of honeybees in the US... Food security depends on having a healthy bee population. That’s why we’ve established the Pacific Bee Sanctuary on Niue -To preserve and protect the world’s last-known significant population of healthy, clean bees. Here, they’re effectively isolated from all the major diseases, parasites and chemicals that are causing colony collapse globally.

Over half (55.1%) of managed bee colonies in the U.S. were lost last year—the highest loss reported since 2011.
These staggering figures remind us how precious and rare our disease-free colony truly is. As the last significant colony unaffected by the issues causing global colony collapse, we’re more determined than ever to protect it.
That’s why we established the Pacific Bee Sanctuary, to safeguard healthy pollinators for the world.
