Cancer Society of New Zealand Auckland Northland Division Inc is the leading non-government organisation dedicated to reducing the incidence of cancer and ensuring the best cancer care for everyone in our region, from the Waikato border to Cape Reinga. We are the largest regional division of the Cancer Society of New Zealand, serving more than one third of New Zealand’s population from our offices

at Domain Lodge in Auckland and Daffodil House in Whangarei. We are an independent non-government organisation reliant on donations and bequests to provide our services free of charge.

RESEARCH

causes and treatment of cancer through the Auckland Cancer Society Research Centre (ACSRC).

The ACSRC was founded by the Cancer Society Auckland in 1956. Today it has over 80 staff and an international
reputation as a world-leading anti-cancer drug development laboratory.

We are New Zealand’s largest private funder of cancer research and continue to be committed to ensuring the best cancer care for people affected by cancer.

HEALTH PROMOTION
Our health promotion programmes are focused on working with communities and organisations to develop healthy public policy to reduce the risk of cancer.
