Drury Community Library

Drury Community Library Drury Community Library is in Tui Street, Drury, Auckland, New Zealand. Joining is free and we have a wonderful range of books for adults and children.

Opened in March 1992, a volunteer-led initiative, we serve the local Drury community. Drury Community Library is available as a small meeting space for local groups and businesses. Inquiries via [email protected] in the first instance. We have free Wifi courtesy of Auckland Public Librairies and offer a printing and copying service. We do take donated books that are in good order and

that are suitable for our readership. We often have books for sale, and proceeds go to keeping the Library running. We would love to have more volunteers to run the Library, whether you are an avid reader, have digital skills, or would like to offer an experience at the Library e.g. reading to children. Please let us know by email or visit when we are open. We would love to see you.

Drury Information Day, THIS SATURDAY, 10am to 1pm at the Drury School Hall.

If you want to know what is happening with road, rail, public transport and facilities in Dury this is your opportunity.

A note from NZTA regarding an information day for the various projects impacting our community. It would be a good chance to give feedback on the developments that have caused so much congestion and local frustration and perhaps hear the masterplan for resolving the issues, according to Drury Community Committee member Chris Caldwell.

NZTA note ....

Our next community information day is approaching, where you can come along to learn more about what's underway and what's coming up on the SH1 Papakura to Drury project.

The community information day will be held on Saturday 23 May, between 10am and 1pm, at the Drury School Hall on Young Crescent in Drury.

Also attending the event so you can learn more about other projects underway or coming up in the Drury / South Auckland area will be:

• SH22 Drury upgrade project
• Waihoehoe Road upgrade project
• SH1 Papakura to Bombay project
• Auckland Urban Development Office: Drury neighbourhood
• KiwiRail: Drury Rail Stations
• Auckland Transport: New bus services and train stations;

Also the Takaanini level crossings projects.

It will be very interesting to hear from Auckland Council's Auckland Urban Development Office - Drury neighbourhood team.

Come along and meet the different project teams at the same place and time and have your questions answered.
