Everyone has been waiting for our Messy Play Term 3 update, here we go!
We’ve had so much fun these past few weeks! We started this playgroup up to gauge interest in messy play and see how we could run a group like this and it’s going great so we will be going ahead with Fridays next term 🙌🏻
The first Friday back, Friday 30th July will run exactly the same as last term and is a great opportunity for you to chat to us about enrolling if you need to. So book your space for that now, it will be $2 per child.
From next term we ask that you enrol with playcentre for $40 a term per family for a guaranteed spot each week. Joining Drury Playcentre also comes with other perks such as being able to attend Mondays and Wednesdays as well if you’d like to, opportunity to attend free workshops and receive NCEA qualifications in early childhood should you want to and being part of the decision making for Drury Playcentre for things such as equipment and resources. Joining playcentre is as involved or as relaxed as you want it to be. We just appreciate help with tidying some toys away before you leave and/or helping set up. You do not have to stay the whole time.
The Monday and Wednesday sessions are similar to messy playgroup but with less messy play stations. We usually have a range of activities going on- messy play, the usual toys and bikes, playdough, music, books, baking, gardening ect. Message to secure your enrolment or ask any questions 😊
Once we have processed enrolments we will see if we still have space for children to attend and will allow casual bookings like last term, where you can book a spot for Messy Playgroup through our page, for a casual attendance fee of $5 per family per session.
