Chip Packet Project New Zealand Chip Packet Project reuses your empty foil packets and creates survival sheets (thermal blankets) for those living on the streets throughout NZ.

A chip packed can take 80 years to decompose in landfill - shocking! Rethinking foil as a reusable resource The mission of CPPNZ is best summed up as follows;

- To give New Life, New Purpose, a New Beginning to single use plastic and foil packaging waste
- To bring people together to make and create items which helps combat loneliness and give life purpose
- To send survival items to people that

have nothing, and/or living on the streets, and/or suffering through national disasters and energy poverty.
- To support environment efforts, reducing waste to landfill, helping the planet. The Chip Packet Project helps so many people in so many different ways, it really is one big ball of good feelings. We are all volunteers, together making something from nothing for those Kiwi's who have nothing. - we need all the help we can get! Collection points around the country are operating under diminished capacity HOWEVER you are most welcome to post your Opened, Clean and Prepared Foil Packets to;

Each Thermal Survival Blanket takes 25 family packets or 44 small packets to help keep someone warm in winter.

CHIP PACKET PROJECT利用锡箔包装袋（比如洋芋片和饼干的包装袋）为街友或需要保暖的人提供救生毯(Survival Blankets)

一包锡箔包装袋是需要80年才能在垃圾掩埋场被分解，让他们变成有用的物品，不仅能减少垃圾、还能带给需要的人温暖。每条救生毯约使用25个大型洋芋片包装袋，等于为地球节省数千年的分解时间！
