Question to all you smart people out there….
If the roads that I drive my truck on and pay 46 cents per km for are not up to standard and I stop paying RUC what legal case do I have????

Geoff Upson I’ve just seen the article about Wayne Brown,Auckland’s Mayor wanting to stop all Auckland Transport roading projects due to the government scrapping the RFT.
My question to you and all the research junkies out there is how much tax does the NZ government make on fuel tax on a daily basis (average )
Because I did the math based on how many barrels of oil we use and the tax charged and it’s astonishing.
My other question is how did the roads and projects get paid for before the RFT came into play?
Cant wait to see some answers.
