โ„๏ธ๐Ÿ”ฅ WINTER WARMER SAFETY CHECK ๐Ÿ”ฅโ„๏ธ

As the colder weather has arrived and set in. Now is the perfect time to make sure your winter heating sources are safe to use at home ๐Ÿ ๐Ÿ’™

Bring your electrical winter warmers along to Henderson Fire Station for FREE electrical safety testing โšก

โœ… Electric blankets
โœ… Heated blankets
โœ… Heat pads
โœ… Heaters

Please note: This is NOT a same day service โš ๏ธ

If youโ€™re planning on using your fireplace this winter, remember to get your chimney cleaned/swept before lighting your first fire. A clean chimney helps reduce the risk of chimney fires ๐Ÿ”ฅ

If you are using a heat pump to keep your family toasty this winter. Make sure that you have cleaned the filters regularly this helps to keep the heat pump running efficiently. Remember to close doors to rooms you donโ€™t need to heat to help heat travel to where you need it most ๐Ÿ›๏ธ๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿง‘โ€๐Ÿง’โ€๐Ÿง’

Lastly, it is a good time to make sure you have the correct amount of smoke alarms within your home (every bedroom, hallway and living area) Be sure to test to make sure they are working. Remember if you are sleeping with your bedroom door shut you need to have a smoke alarm in each bedroom๐Ÿšจ

We take a moment to pay our respects to those who continue to serve.
