Hi everyone. We've had a few wild and windy weekends recently but the weather is great today. The BB is out on Scoria Crescent and I've swapped a whole lot of books around. That means there are lots of new titles to browse and borrow. Enjoy reading!

Doesn't Isla's 'Malabar Borrow Box' look awesome?! I am thrilled to share progress on the amazing work of the Borrow Box Project NZ reader leaders like Isla. No doubt that with a BB as cute as that one, she'll have kids queueing up to get some of her awesome titles out. Well done Isla!!

I am so proud to announce the grand debut of the Fairfield Bookstop which is run by the amazing Olivia!
Olivia is one of the first Reader Leaders and she'll put her Borrow Box called the 'Bookstop' out in front of her house at 21 Fairfield Road, Fairfield Hamilton.
If you are in Hamilton, stop on by and visit the Bookstop.

Olivia is our youngest Reader Leader and is based in Fairfield, Hamilton. She has chosen a shad of pink you cannot ignore for her BB. Child literacy should not be ignored after all. If bold colours are what it takes to get kids reading, then I'm all for it.

Just wanted to share some news about the Borrow Box Project. One of my first Reader Leaders from the Waikato, Juno Wellbeloved has done a great job of decorating her BB for the Rototuna North community. If you are in Hamilton, make sure to support Juno on Pragma Rise in Rototuna North!

Some of BBPNZ's first reader leaders are sending in photos of their fresh Borrow Box colour schemes. Juno in Rototuna North, Hamilton has almost finished her BB and has most fittingly named it 'Juno's Borrow Box'. If you are a resident of Rototuna North, make sure to visit Juno's Borrow Box on Pragma Rise for some great reading.

Just wanted to post an update on my Borrow Box Project NZ initiative. I'm on the lookout for reader leaders to join me in bringing great kids' books into the heart of NZ communities.

If you know a young person who might be keen to run a Borrow Box like my one, show them this video and join the movement.
