At Level 3.2, Finlayson Park Childcare Centre is now able to increase our bubble size up to 20 children. This is very exciting!

Please note that in order to maintain a safe environment, we still require that children ONLY attend by PRIOR ARRANGEMENT with our Centre Supervisors.

We continue to maintain all care, and health and saftey practices as per the latest government advice. For this, please be aware that when dropping off and collecting your child/ren, all PARENTS/CAREGIVERS must continue to wear a mask, and sign in using the QR code (or the written record).

ALL OTHER VISITORS to the centre can ONLY be by pre-arrangement with the supervisors or centre management. As per the government mandate, volunteers and others who are on site at times when the children are present are required to be vaccinated.

Finlayson Park Childcare Centre continues to be open at Level 3.

We are catering for one bubble of up to 10 children and it is great to be open! To maintain everyone's safety, children can ONLY attend by PRIOR ARRANGEMENT with our Centre Supervisors. We are continuing to maintain all care, and health and saftey practices as per the government advice.

Following the Prime Minister's announcement that Aotearoa New Aealand has moved to Level 4 Lockdown, Finlayson Park Childcare Centre is currently closed for at least 7 days.

We are excited to share updates about our centre. Under our new structure, we have two Centre Supervisors, Donna Gan (Under 2s) and Yasamin Mansur (Over 2s) who lead our skilled and experienced teaching team at the centre.
Based on the Forest School philosophy, we regularly take the children out exploring in the community. As our older children turn five and start their exciting journey at primary school, new spaces become available in our Early Learning Centre. If you are looking for a smaller centre where your child can thrive as an individual, call in and meet the teachers, or phone the centre on 09 267 8324 or 027 519 8444.

Kia ora koutou. We are delighted to again be fully open from 7.30am this Monday, 8 March 2021. Under Level 2 guidelines, we will be requesting you scan in and maintain vigilant hygiene standards including sanitising and cough/sneeze protocols.

We are really looking forward to seeing everyone back on Monday, however if you are unwell please stay home, take care and have a speedy recovery.

In response to the Prime Minister's announcement that Auckland is in Alert Level 3 from 6am Sunday 28 February 2021 until 6am 7 March, our centre is currently working on skeleton staffing. If you need to bring your child in, please contact the centre in advance to ensure we will have appropriate staffing levels when your child attends.

If you are unwell, have symptoms of COVID-19 or are awaiting a test result, please keep your child at home with you. If you have been in contact with someone with COVID or who is a close contact, please contact the Ministry of Health for further guidance.

Stay safe. We look forward to seeing everyone back at the centre when we are back in Levels 2 or 1.

We are OPEN AS OF THURSDAY 18 FEBRUARY following the Prime Minister's announcement that Auckland will move to Alert Level 2 at midnight tonight.

We will be operating with care and vigilance around sanitising and hygiene.

We look forward to having your children attend for their booked hours but please follow all Ministry of Helath guidelines regrading staying home when unwell, and seeking advice regarding COVID-19 testing.

In response to the Prime Minister's announcement that Auckland is in Alert Level 3 from Midnight Sunday 14 February, our centre is now CLOSED until Midnight Wednesday 17 February. We will update this post as information is received from Ministry of Education and the government.

We reopen on Monday 18 January 8am - 4pm. Come on in and meet us if you are interested in enrolling your child in our centre.

From Monday 1 February, our hours are back to 7.30am - 5pm.

We currently have spaces for new enrolments with our Under 2s and Over 2s - be in quick!
