We’re highlighting a member who has become PDINZ – Simon Dearsley
An existing Member (DINZ) who has gained up to five years experience as a practicing designer and attained a high level of professional competency in their design sector may apply to DINZ for professional Accreditation.
PDINZ acknowledges our Constitution’s Pou – recognition of excellence in professionalism and connecting and building relationships, but also being able to give something back to the community.
Simon Dearsley, PDINZ – Fisher & Paykel Appliances, EVP Design and Brand
"Our design community is one of the most ambitious and generous I've been part of. What sets it apart is its breadth - product, spatial, graphic and digital designers in the same room, which is rarer than it should be.
For me, PDINZ is a commitment to mentor emerging designers, to advocate for the value of design across all its forms, and to be an active contributor to a creative culture I want to see thrive.
Two decades working overseas taught me that a community like this is built, deliberately, by the people in it.”
