Earlier this year, Meraki and Candid proudly agreed to sponsor Finn Murphy, a talented young musician from the Aotea Youth Symphony Orchestra. Finn's dedication and passion for music have led him to perform at one of the world's most prestigious venues—the Sydney Opera House. On June 22nd, he played in the violin section alongside the Colorado Youth Symphony Orchestra, marking an unforgettable moment in his musical journey.
Meeting Finn has been a highlight for us this year. From the moment we first encountered him, Finn's authenticity and bright spirit shone through. Our director and co-founder, Michelle Prasad, fondly recalls their initial meeting. Finn, barefoot and fully immersed in his music, played his violin with such grace and joy that he immediately captured Michelle's heart.
Finn's talent extends beyond the concert hall. He also performed at our other director and co-founder, Cianell Greenough’s wedding, accompanied by his wonderful mother. His performance was nothing short of magical, adding a special touch to an already beautiful celebration.
We are immensely grateful to Finn, his parents Tam and Sean, for allowing us the opportunity to sponsor such an extraordinary young musician. Finn, your future is incredibly bright, and we are honored to be a part of your journey. We can't wait to see all the amazing things you will accomplish.
