Shoutout to the Ulysses Taranaki Club for their fundraising ride to help support our organisation.

As part of their ride, they stopped to meet our team at Inglewood, Stratford, and Hawera stations before finishing off in Waiwakaiho for a sausage sizzle 🌭

Cheers to everyone around the country doing what they can to help raise vital funds for us 💛

As the days get chillier, let’s get cozy and smart about staying healthy!

1️⃣ Clean out expired medicines 💊
2️⃣ Keep a few essentials on hand, such as tissues, moisturiser, and honey, to help soothe sore throats 🍯
3️⃣ If you're unwell, stay home to avoid spreading illness 😷
4️⃣ Seek the right help early; that might be your GP, local pharmacist or a call to Healthline 📞
5️⃣ Dress warmly; being cold can weaken your immune system 🧥

A quick look what our Major Incident Support Team (MIST) volunteers do at the scene of an emergency 🤝

Our MIST volunteers are non-clinical roles that support for our frontline ambulance crews during major or complex incidents and events.

Ready to go 24/7, our MIST teams strengthen community resilience across both urban and rural areas 🚑

If this sounds like something you would love to be involved in, check out our latest MIST volunteer opportunities at the link in the comments ⬇️

After a busy shift of medical emergencies, it’s crucial that our frontline teams have a place to return to where they can debrief, reset and recharge 🚑

This month we're raising vital funds towards repairs and rebuilds of ambulance stations all around the motu, and we'd love your help.

From living rooms to workplaces, roadsides to rugby games - and the occasional place so random you just roll with it 🤔

So far this year our people have helped people in 219,680 🚑 incidents around the motu

With every call our teams work to get people the right care. Sometimes it's is hard to miss - like an ambulance with lights and sirens in your driveway or a Major Incident Support Team at a natural disaster. Other times their work is less visible - a clinician providing advice over the phone, a rural extended care paramedic in the community, or teams working behind the scenes to establish the best pathways for patients through our health system.

Thank you to all our people for your mahi both on the road and behind the scenes.

If you’ve had a moment where one of our people made a difference in your life drop a comment or send us a DM, we’d love to hear your story 💛
