🎉 【奧克蘭歡慶🇹🇼中華民國115年國慶】~EP 2️⃣
本處於 10 月 9 日晚間隆重舉辦慶祝中華民國115年雙十國慶酒會。當天各界人士雲集，出席貴賓包括紐西蘭國會議員、台灣立法委員、毛利事務部官員、奧克蘭市議員、領事團成員、主流媒體、學術教育、藝文、金融、法律、宗教、毛利部落代表，以及僑務委員、本處轄內各台僑社團幹部、台商、鄉親及台灣留學生近250 人齊聚一堂，共襄盛會。現場佈滿我國和紐西蘭國旗，會場前還擺設有中華航空、台灣啤酒及其他台商攤位，喜氣洋洋。
典禮在全場齊聲高唱中華民國、紐西蘭兩國國歌中隆重揭開序幕。本處林處長致詞時指出，今年除歡慶中華民國（台灣 ）115 年國慶，也適逢台灣首次總統直選 30 週年，意義深遠；30 年來民主自由已深植台灣社會，台灣的各項發展成果舉世共睹，已成為國際社會中值得信賴的夥伴；但他強調，面對詭譎多變的國際情勢、地緣政治不確定升高及中國日增的滲透分化、軍事恫嚇、經濟脅迫、外交孤立及對外威權擴張，台灣除將持續強化民主韌性、提升自我防衞能力、維護區域和平穩定，運用半導體、AI 及資通訊等優勢鏈結全世界，並將續與理念相近國家擴大交流合作，以共創和平穩定與互利共榮。林處長特別感謝紐西蘭各界及旅紐鄉親長期以來對台灣的堅定支持，並強調台紐兩國在經貿、科技、能源、公衞、文化、教育、觀光、農業及原住民族事務等領域交流密切，期盼透過共同努力，持續深化雙邊實質友好關係與人民情誼。最後，祝福中華民國國泰民安，生日快樂！
國會議員 Helen White 與 Dr. David Wilson 接續致詞，他們都高度肯定台灣堅守民主核心價值與科技經濟的亮眼成就，並分享之前訪台的正面觀感；從台灣遠道而來的立法委員林倩綺博士也上台致祝詞，幾位奧克蘭市議員亦前來同慶，包含John Watson 市議員，以及Alf Filipaina 與 Lotu Fuli 市議員。其中Filipaina 議員更偕同毛利部落代表登臺，以傳統歌謠〈Te Aroha〉與震撼全場的 Haka 〈哈卡舞〉，向太平洋另一端的台灣「家人」獻上真摯祝福，將晚會氣氛推向高潮！緊接著，僑務委員施振嘉也代表大奧克蘭地區僑胞，向紐國各界對台灣長期情義相挺表達最深的感謝。
隨後，林處長夫婦邀請所有貴賓上台共同舉杯、齊唱生日快樂歌並切下🎂國慶蛋糕！特別的是，今年酒會現場迎來了最萌嬌點——一隻親和力十足的「台灣黑熊」驚喜現身，瞬間成為全場焦點，吸引現場貴賓與外國友人爭相合影留念，為現場帶來無限歡樂與驚喜！
酒會尾聲，由旅居奧克蘭鄉親組成的《福爾摩沙室內樂團》帶來三首悠揚動人的古典樂曲，《世華合唱團》則演繹台灣傳統歌謠及布農族名作「拍手歌」，完美展現台灣多元文化的迷人風貌，在悠揚樂曲、動人歌聲及歡笑聲中，為這場充滿溫馨與台紐深厚情誼的國慶酒會畫下圓滿句點。

《Celebrating the 115th National Day of the Republic of China 🇹🇼in Auckland》
Amidst the blooming spring season of the Southern Hemisphere, our Office hosted a reception on the evening of October 9th to celebrate the 115th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan). The event drew a diverse crowd of nearly 250 attendees, including New Zealand Members of Parliament, Taiwanese legislator, officials from the Ministry of Māori Development, Auckland Councilors, members of consular corps, and representatives from mainstream media, academia, the arts, finance, the legal and religious sectors, and Māori tribes. Also in attendance were Overseas Community Affairs Council member, leaders of local Taiwanese communities, Taiwanese businesspeople, compatriots, and Taiwanese students. The venue was adorned with the national flags of both Taiwan and New Zealand, and featured booths from China Airlines and other Taiwanese businesses, creating a festive and joyful atmosphere.
The ceremony commenced with singing the national anthems of the Republic of China and New Zealand. In his remarks, Director-General Lin noted that this year marks not only the 115th National Day of the Republic of China (Taiwan) but also the 30th anniversary of Taiwan’s first direct presidential election—a milestone of profound significance. Over the past three decades, democracy and freedom have become deeply rooted in Taiwanese society, and the nation’s achievements are recognized worldwide, establishing it as a trusted partner in the international community.
However, DG Lin emphasized that in the face of a volatile international landscape, rising geopolitical uncertainty, and China’s escalating tactics—including infiltration, division, military intimidation, economic coercion, diplomatic isolation, and authoritarian expansion—Taiwan will continue to strengthen its democratic resilience, enhance self-defense capabilities, and safeguard regional peace and stability. Leveraging its strengths in semiconductors, AI, and ICT to connect with the world. Taiwan will also expand exchanges and cooperation with like-minded nations to foster a future of peace, stability, mutual benefit, and shared prosperity. DG Lin expressed his sincere gratitude to all sectors of New Zealand society and the Taiwanese community for their steadfast support for Taiwan over the years. He highlighted the close ties between Taiwan and New Zealand across trade, technology, energy, public health, culture, education, tourism, agriculture and Indigenous affairs, expressing hope that through joint efforts, the substantive friendly relations and bonds of friendship between the two peoples will continue to deepen. Finally, he wished the Republic of China peace and prosperity—happy birthday!
Members of Parliament Helen White and Dr. David Wilson delivered remarks, highly commending Taiwan’s commitment to core democratic values and its impressive achievements in technology and the economy, while also sharing positive impressions from their past visits to the island. Dr. Lin Chien-chi, a legislator from Taiwan, also offer her congratulations. Three Auckland City Councilors joined the celebration and made remarks, including Councilor John Watson, as well as Councilors Alf Filipaina and Lotu Fuli. Councilor Filipaina, accompanied by representatives from a Māori tribe, took the stage to offer sincere blessings to their "family" in Taiwan—through the traditional song "Te Aroha" and a powerful Haka performance that captivated the entire audience, bringing the evening's atmosphere to a crescendo. Immediately following, Overseas Community Affairs Council member Jerry Shih, representing the overseas community in the greater Auckland area, expressed deep gratitude to all New Zealand friends for their enduring friendship and support for Taiwan.
Subsequently, DG & Mrs. Lin invited all distinguished guests to the stage to raise their glasses, sing "Happy Birthday," and cut the National Day cake. A special highlight of this year's reception was the surprise appearance of an adorable "Taiwan Black Bear" mascot. With its friendly and engaging demeanor, the bear instantly became the center of attention, drawing all guests to snap photos and creating an atmosphere filled with joy and delightful surprises.
A heartfelt thank you to all the distinguished guests, the hardworking staff—both on and off stage—the performers, and volunteers. Thanks to your enthusiastic participation, this National Day reception was filled with the warmth of home and the radiance of international friendship.
