We are asking all our toys to be returned by 29th of November so we can get the Christmas toys ready to be collected on 5th , 6th, 12th & 13th December this year . 13th December will be the last day for us this year. We will be open again on 30th January 2026.

This isn’t the first time we’ve reported on unsafe products containing button batteries bought online. We strongly recommend you do not purchase children’s toys from Shein, Temu, eBay, Amazon and AliExpress.

It is estimated that around 20 children are taken to the children’s hospital in Auckland each year because of button-battery-related injuries or suspected ingestion. Over 60% of these incidents are caused by batteries coming loose from products, while 29% are caused by batteries being incorrectly disposed of or stored.
