For obvious reasons, we need to consider how far away from our station you live but this will be discussed with you as part of our recruitment process. Operational Support team members have a full class 2 license and man our Lighting Unit. So what are you waiting for ....step forward and make a difference!

Today on the first anniversary we honour and remember the lives of Craig Stevens and Dave van Zwanenberg, the Muriwai Volunteer Firefighters who tragically lost their lives in the line of duty.

This commemoration pin, made from the Muriwai Fire Brigade logo is being worn by all Fire and Emergency New Zealand personnel who played a part in supporting our people in Muriwai during and after the events of February 13 2023. Each red line represents the fallen firefighters, Craig and Dave.
