Ranui 135 is a grassroots Indigenous Founder led Youth Trust based in the heart of the Rānui community. Formed in 2002 in response to challenges in the area at the time that showed Ranui youth led all the wrong statistics in West Auckland when it came to education, crime and unemployment, four local friends born and raised in the area of Niuean, Samoan, Tongan and Māori lineages, came together and engaged our youngsters through positive events and activities, investing in and growing youth leadership and community pride.
From humble beginnings in volunteerism it is now a stand alone Charitable Trust providing opportunities for local young people to contribute meaningfully to their own lives, their family and their community.
