🎉 Counting Down to Term 4! 🎉

Just 3 sleeps!

We are so excited to welcome all of our learners back on Monday 12 October for the start of a fantastic final term!

We can't wait to hear all about their holiday adventures and see those big smiles back in the classrooms. Just a reminder that classrooms open at 8:20 am and to wait outside the hall if you are a little early!

Enjoy these last few days of the break, rest up, and we will see you on Monday morning!

🌱 Enviro Programme Update 🌱

We are so excited to share that Point View School has relaunched its Enviro Programme this year!

As one of the unique opportunities offered at Point View School, all of our learners visit a dedicated specialist teacher every term to explore the world around us, learning how to take care of our environment and ourselves.

During Term 3, our learners embarked on an exciting journey exploring healthy eating, discovering where our food comes from, and learning practical ways to protect and care for the environment.

🎭 Set Sail for Adventure! Stage Extension Ready! 🏴‍☠️⚓

Exciting news as we get closer to showtime, our school stage has been officially extended to make room for all the swashbuckling action of our Middle School performance: Pirates of the Carob Bean!

Our talented learners are hard at work rehearsing, and the stage is set for an incredible show.

🚧 Property Update: Middle School Learning Block Transformation! 🎨💻✨

Work is well underway on our Middle School Learning Block!

A huge thank you to the Point View School Board for funding this major upgrade, which includes fresh painting, new wall surfaces, new carpet, and updated technology for our classrooms.

Our fingers are tightly crossed that everything wraps up in time for the start of the term so our learners can step into a fantastic, modernised learning environment.

🚧 Property Update: Admin Block Getting a Refresh! 🔨✨

Exciting news around school,the carpet replacement for our admin block is well underway!

We're looking forward to having a fresh, updated space ready for our visitors, staff, and learners. This is part of our 5 year property upgrade funded by the Ministry of Education.

😃 Term 3 Attendance Update 😃

Term 3 was definitely a tough one, with winter bugs and illness hitting both our learners and staff hard. Despite all the challenges:

📈 Our regular attendance rate for Term 3 was UP by 12% compared to Term 3 2025!

That is an incredible achievement and a huge credit to all our parents, caregivers, and staff for keeping our kids healthy, supported, and coming to school whenever possible.

Let’s keep this awesome momentum going as we head into Term 4! Our goal for the final term is to hit our 80% target for 90%+ student attendance.

A quick reminder for all our families: starting in Term 4 and continuing through Term 1, 2027, all learners are required to wear their summer uniform.

Don't forget that the official Point View School sun hat is a compulsory part of the summer uniform to keep our students safe and protected in the sun!
