What a wonderful finale to a fabulous week. A huge thank-you to all our staff and students who made this years Tonga Language Week so special. And a massive mālō 'aupito to Charlie Pome'e for his inspirational words on music and culture.

Uike Kātoanga'i 'o e lea faka-Tonga starts tomorrow. This years theme is “Ko 'etau hiva, ko e fe'unu mahu'inga ia ki he mo'ui 'a e Tonga" - Our music is a vital strand of our Tongan culture. Come dressed in your Tongan best and celebrate lea faka-Tonga with us at assembly on Friday at 11am with culture, music and dance. This assembly is also part of "Wēteri Wide Open" so it is open to anyone interested in seeing our school in action.

We're so close!

Thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, donations made directly to the school, and the fundraising efforts of our amazing AIMS netball team, we're now just $3,000 away from reaching our goal.

Our players have worked incredibly hard to earn this opportunity, and they're doing everything they can to help make it happen. Now we're asking our wider community to help us get over the finish line.

Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to getting our team to the AIMS Games. If you're not able to donate, sharing this post is another wonderful way to support us.

Every donation is bringing our AIMS netball dream a little closer.

For many of our students, representing Wesley Intermediate at AIMS is a once in a lifetime opportunity. The talent, commitment and hard work are already there. The challenge is simply the cost of getting them there.

If you've been thinking about donating, now is a great time. Whether it's $5, $20 or more, every contribution helps reduce the financial barrier for our players and their whānau.

It was a pleasure to host the closing assembly of the Wesley Matariki celebrations today. It was a very special event and we were very proud of all our young people. Thank-you to our incredible community.

We are working towards sending a netball team to the AIMS Games.
