Fakaaue lahi to Aunty Pepe for sharing Niuean culture with us today! 🇳🇺

We listened to a traditional legend about how the octopus and the rat became enemies, and how this story helped fishermen catch octopus. We also learnt a few lologo (songs) and discovered more about Niue, the villages and its close-knit community.

Thank you for helping us learn and celebrate Niuean culture. What a special occasion for all of us!

Fakaalofa lahi atu! Happy Niue Language Week! 🇳🇺 🌺
