💛 Thank You for Celebrating Shared Heritage with Us! 🇨🇴🇳🇿

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for our Shared Heritage events! It was wonderful to bring our community together to celebrate culture, connection, storytelling and the experiences that shape who we are.

From Colombia-Aotearoa: Shared Heritage, where we explored stories of migration, belonging and cultural identity over the flavours of Colombia, to Roots of My Land, a hands-on workshop with Gleides Garcia celebrating Latin American culture through the traditional art of making arepas, each gathering created a special opportunity to share stories, learn from one another and strengthen our community connections.

These events remind us of the beauty of our diverse backgrounds and the ways food, culture and shared experiences can bring people together. 🌎❤️

Thank you to everyone who attended, shared their stories, participated, and helped make these events so meaningful. Your presence and openness made these gatherings truly special!

Here's to continuing to celebrate our shared stories, honour our roots, and build a stronger, more connected community together.

Our Harakeke Workshop was a fantastic success! 🌿

As part of Te Wiki o te Reo Māori, community members came together to learn the art of raranga, create beautiful woven bracelets, and celebrate Māori language and culture in a welcoming and hands-on environment.
