Last week, we delivered our first-ever Step on Site – Employer Experience Day! Our work-ready ākonga stepped beyond the classroom to connect with employers and experience the industry firsthand. 🚧

A huge thank you to our industry partners, Programmed New Zealand and NZ Strong Group, for opening their doors, sharing their expertise, and giving ākonga a closer look at the industry in action. Including a behind-the-scenes visit to a construction site at Auckland Zoo.

These experiences help build confidence, strengthen industry connections, and bring career pathways to life. ✨

This week, TSI MPTT proudly celebrated ’Epetoma o te reo Māori Kūki ’Āirani (Cook Islands Māori Language Week), acknowledging the beauty and significance of Te Reo Māori Kūki Āirani and the vibrant culture of the Cook Islands. 🌺

This year's theme, "Me kite koe i te tuatua i to'ou reo tupuna, e turanga rangatira tena nō'ou no te uki amuri atu" reminds us that with our language as our foundation, we will embrace the future.

From shared kai and imene to bright island colours and meaningful connections, our celebrations were a reminder of why cultural language weeks matter. They help us honour identity, strengthen belonging, and celebrate the diverse cultures that make our communities stronger.

Meitaki ma'ata to everyone who joined us in celebrating this special week and helping bring the spirit of the Cook Islands into our workplace. 🌺
