Jung-Hsu Wan is a Dance Movement Therapy and Creative Arts therapies practitioner, supervisor, and researcher. As an ACC-sensitive claims-named provider, Jung supports individuals with relational and complex trauma, early childhood adversity, and holistic, cultural well-being.

Grounding her work in psychology, mindfulness, somatic therapy, and trauma-informed movement, Jung creates a safe, creative space to process trauma and foster healing.

Book to join us and Wei from tomorrow morning in a preserving and pickling workshop. We will be making a jar of preserved lemon at the workshop to take home. Please bring ONE sterilised wide mouth GLASS jar with lid. Ideally the size of the jar is no more than 1L. Please also bring a chopping board and a knife for this hands-on workshop. Lemons and other ingredients will be provided.

You’ll learn safe and simple preserving techniques, how to balance flavours, and tips for storing fresh produce to extend its life. Discover how preserving can help reduce food waste and ensure you have healthy, flavour-packed ingredients to enjoy all year round.

You’ll also get advice about how to be creative with your fresh food and leftovers, to help them last longer. Making the most of the food we have, helps save money and is better for the environment.

Not sure what to do with all that citrus? 🍋
Come along to our hands-on Love Food Hate Waste preserving workshop with Wei at Titirangi Community House.

You’ll learn simple and safe ways to preserve seasonal fruit and vegetables, along with ideas for using up fresh food and leftovers before they go to waste.

We’ll be making preserved lemons for you to take home, and sharing tips for making your produce last longer, saving money and getting more creative in the kitchen.

Please bring:
• 1 sterilised, wide-mouth glass jar with lid (up to 1L)
• A chopping board
• A knife

We’ll provide the lemons and everything else you need.

Spaces are limited, so be sure to register!

Join us for a fun-filled day of free creative activities throughout Titirangi Village on Saturday 19 September, 10am – 2pm.
This is a great opportunity for tamariki to explore with their caregivers and enjoy hands-on workshops and events with: McCahon House Museum, Te Uru Gallery, Titirangi Potters, Titirangi Community House, Titirangi Library, Titirangi Theatre.

This Whanau Day, stop by Titirangi Community House to make your own prize ribbon using recycled fabrics and materials. Celebrate yourself with your one-of-a-kind prize rosette brooch.
