“My Dad is my favourite person to go on adventures with! ❤️
We go for walks at Seaside Park
and we search for the best stick to throw for the dog.
Dad says we’re getting some exercise,
but I think he just likes going for a walk with me. ☺️
On Thursdays, we go to the market
and Dad always looks for the best bargains.
He gets really happy when he finds something cheap! 🙌🏽
On Fridays, our whole family goes to Food City
for our lazy dinner.
Dads shout! — yay! 🤭
We all sit together and have yummy food.
Dad takes me to the library too. 📚
I pick out books
and reads them to me.
And at the pools,
Dad teaches me how to swim. 🏊
He tells me to be brave
and I try my best.
But the funniest thing about Dad is…
he knows EVERYONE!
We can’t go anywhere in Ōtāhuhu
without Dad saying,
“Hey! How are you?”
Sometimes I ask,
“Dad, do you know everybody?”
And he says, “Pretty much!” 😂
I love our little adventures,
our family dinners,
our walks, our books
and all the places we go together.
I think Ōtāhuhu is the best place
to have a Dad like mine. ❤️
