REMINDER: Water Skills for Life starts TOMORROW Tuesday 25th August and runs for the next five Tuesdays.

Remember that we need the consent form filled in (if you haven’t already) so we have permission for your child to participate in Water Skills for Life due to changes in health and safety regulations.

Please make sure your child has the following:
* Togs and a towel
* Footwear (preferably jandals)
* Named uniform
* Swimming bag to keep everything in (preferably waterproof)

Long hair must be tied up and girls are not to wear bikini’s.

Footwear must be worn on the bus – this is a safety regulation. Since shoes and socks are a hassle when swimming, if possible, please send along some kind of ‘slip on’ footwear for your child to wear when swimming e.g. jandals or Crocs.

Please note that Swimsation does not allow children to wear goggles in the pool because this is a water safety programme and they want children to learn to open their eyes underwater so if they are ever in difficulty in water (river, lake, sea, pool) they feel comfortable opening their eyes.

Yesterday we celebrated Cultural Diversity Day at school. A great day was had by all & the children (& staff) looked amazing!!

Tomorrow, Friday 22nd May, is World Cultural Diversity Day and students can wear traditional costumes of their culture to school for the day🥻👗👚🎽
