Great to have our MP for Botany Christopher Luxon out across the Botany electorate today, talking with locals in Beachlands, Maraetai and Whitford about the issues that matter most to them.

From local priorities and community concerns to the bigger challenges and opportunities facing New Zealand, these conversations are always valuable and help keep us grounded in what people want to see from their Government.

Thank you to everyone who stopped for a chat, shared their views, and offered their ideas. As we continue to fix the basics and build the future, hearing directly from New Zealanders remains one of the most important parts of the job.

Great to be in Flat Bush this morning for the opening of the Salvation Army’s new social housing village on Chapel Road, delivering 41 new homes for our community.

A strong partnership with Housing and Urban Development helping provide warm, safe, and stable housing for those who need it most.

Spent time with the Business East Tāmaki crowd this morning for breakfast – always enjoy chatting with businesses in my electorate.

As I heard this morning, more businesses are feeling optimistic about the coming year.

When businesses are confident, they invest, hire and grow. That means more jobs, higher incomes, and more opportunities for Kiwis.

There’s still more work to do, but this is another sign that the economy is getting on the right track under National.
