We are seeking a hard-working and reliable Mussel Barge Deckhand to join our team.
Job Description:
You will be an essential part of our mussel farming operations, working on board our barges, assisting with daily operations, maintaining equipment, harvesting and ensuring the barge is operating efficiently and safely.
This is a physically demanding role requiring a passion for working outdoors and a commitment to high standards of quality and safety.
Key Requirements:
Previous experience working on the water or in a similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn new skills.
Excellent physical fitness and stamina for manual labour.
Strong communication skills.
