In Term 1, our year 5 students did a series of sessions with a fantastic educator from Foodstuffs, Ms Andy. We learnt about nutrition and budgeting. In order to apply our learning, last week we arranged a large shared lunch where each class prepared one food item with our new knowledge in mind. We all then came together at lunchtime to enjoy our balanced meal consisting of sandwiches, vietnamese rolls, smoothies, rocky road and fairy bread.

A big thank you to Pak n Save for supporting us with ingredients and to Skye's dad, Daniel for helping room 8 with their food preparation. Check out the photos of our meal and the students having fun working together.

ENPS Netball Season 2026

What an awesome netball season it has been for our ENPS teams! Throughout the season, our players have spent their Wednesday nights at Windmill Road, representing ENPS with pride, energy, and determination.

It has been fantastic to see the growth in our players across the season, from developing their passing, shooting and defensive skills to building confidence, teamwork and resilience on the court. Most importantly, our students supported one another, played fairly and gave every game their best effort.

A huge thank you to our coaches, managers, parents and whānau who gave up their Wednesday evenings to support our teams. Your encouragement from the sidelines and commitment throughout the season made it all possible.

Congratulations to all our ENPS netball players on a fantastic season. We are incredibly proud of the way you represented our kura! 💙🏐

Our ENPS hockey team had an outstanding day at the Winter Field Day, showing fantastic skill, teamwork, and determination throughout the competition.

The team played brilliantly during the pool rounds, finishing first in their pool and earning their place in the final. They then faced St Kentigern in an intense and highly competitive match. Both teams fought hard right to the final whistle, with St Kentigern eventually taking the win.

ENPS finished an impressive 2nd place overall! 🥈

A huge congratulations to all our players for representing ENPS with pride, resilience, and excellent sportsmanship. You should be incredibly proud of this achievement.

Kia ora!
Last week, ENPS participated in the Football Zones competition. For the first time we sent a competitive girls team to participate. They got their first win and Harper scored the first goal for the ENPS team.

After a tough third place last year, our boys were very determined. Teamwork and excellent passing meant our boys became a very tough team to beat. Congratulations to our Year 5s who immediately held their own alongside our Year 6 boys. We went undefeated the whole day and then played in a tough final in the afternoon. We won the final 1-0 against Kings. Thank you to all our parent helpers who supported the teams and helped manage them throughout the day.
