🎉 Assembly Fun! 🎉

Today we had another awesome assembly hosted by the fantastic duo Addison Leathley and Cainan Murray 👏 They did an amazing job leading us through the morning.

Assembly looked a little different today, with teachers and students coming up to take part in some fun challenges 😄 There were lots of laughs and smiles — a great way to finish the week together!

What an awesome day out at our school Cross Country today! The weather held off, the support was incredible, and our tamariki showed amazing determination, resilience, and school spirit 👏

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the day such a success — staff, whānau, student leaders, and our wonderful Lions Club marshals 🙌

🏐 WOW! Yesterday lots of our Puketapu students (and ex-Puketapu students) played in the Indoor Netball Championships. THREE of the teams with our students took out wins! 🎉👏

This competition is played and organised outside of school, so it is awesome to see our tamariki getting involved in sports in their own time, giving things a go, building skills and having fun. Ka pai koutou! 💙💛

🃏 Check out these awesome card holders! 🃏

Perfect for little hands… and even adults with uncoordinated ones too 😄 These handy holders make card games so much easier and more fun to play.

A huge shoutout to Maia Brider from Room 1, who made these with a little help from Mum. Maia kindly donated some to our Friendship Space for lunchtime card games, as well as some for her classroom. What an amazing and thoughtful idea! 💛

Thank you sooo much Maia, your creativity and kindness are awesome!

🥣 Monday Breakfast Club Volunteer Needed 🥣

We are looking for a parent or grandparent volunteer to join our Monday Breakfast Club team alongside one of our existing helpers.

⏰ Time: Mondays, 8.15am–9.15am
📍 Help needed with:
• Setting up and assisting with breakfast
• Dishes and clean up
• Prepping for the following day

If you have an hour to spare on a Monday morning and would love to support our tamariki, we would love to hear from you!
