We had a visit this morning from Verdon School and an ex pupil of ours Zac Burt, who led us in prayers for the 3rd station of the Cross : Jesus falls the first time. Verdon students are going around all the catholic schools carrying a cross and reenacting Jesus' journey with the cross.

Tomorrow we are heading into the ILT stadium for a Zero waste workshop as part of our Enviroschools kaupapa. We are leaving school at 8:50 to be there, parked and ready to start at 9:30am. The students can be in m***i clothes with a lunch that doesn’t need to be heated, a drink bottle and a jacket. We will be looking at food waste solutions, exploring practical ways that reduce waste in lunchboxes, threats to our moana, investigating microplastics in our kaimoana and exploring waste management through a Te Ao Maori lens with a focus on kaitiakitanga. (Guardianship and responsibility).
If your child requires a carseat, please leave it with us in the morning.
