Kia ora koutou,
It is with massive feelings that I announce that I’ve tendered my resignation to the Board as Principal of Leamington School. My time at Leamington will come to an end at the end of Term 2.
Time away this year gave me space to imagine new possibilities as I enter the second half of my career. As a result, in August I’m heading to New York to undertake full-time study towards a Master’s in Finance.
I started at Leamington in 2008 and feel incredibly proud and connected to this school and this community. The thought of leaving this place has brought incredibly tough internal turmoil but feel now is the time to explore other possibilities.
I'm sure there’ll be time for proper goodbyes in the weeks to come. For now, just know that this decision comes with a full heart and an anticipation for the adventure ahead.
