🤩 WIMS Vibrant Voices...

Earlier today, a group of 4 x students had the incredible opportunity to participate in the WIMS Vibrant Voices Day. Representing CMS with pride, our students showcased their talents across a range of categories:

Amelie J - Original Song, placed runner up 🥈
Olive O - Formal Speeches, placed runner up 🥈
Asahi Y - Entertaining Speeches
Lily N - Song with a message

Each student stepped up confidently and made CMS proud by being super supporting and encouraging of each other and the other performers from the other schools 👏

🏃‍♀👟 CMS Athletics Day - Parent Volunteers Needed 🏃‍♀👟

Our whole school Athletics Day is on Thursday 29 October at the Athletics Grounds on Vogel Street.

WHEN: Thursday 29 October 2026

TIME: 8:30am to 3:00pm

PARENT VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: We need helpers on the day to make it a safe and successful school event for all of our students.

🕺🕺🏽😃 Limelight Dance Academy - Rototuna...

LDA offer some amazing inclusive classes designed for children with disabilities, differ-abilities, or additional needs for ages 6-15 approximately.

No diagnosis is necessary- classes are open to individuals with any learning or physical disability, those with neurodivergence and/or sensory, behavioural, emotional or social difficulties.

Dance can offer a wide range of benefits such as:
💙 A safe place to explore self-expression and freedom of movement
💙 The opportunity to connect with others and build social communication skills
💙 Increased physical skills and body awareness
💙 Enhanced experiences of music and movement within our body and space

Classes are facilitated by a fully qualified dance teacher (Miss Hayleigh Rossetter), who has a wide range of experience working with this community.

🥣☕😃 CAN YOU HELP SUPPORT CONNECTION AND KAI?

At CMS, 'Connection and Kai' provides students with a welcoming space, each morning, where they can enjoy breakfast, have a warm drink and catch up with friends before heading to class.

We’re now reaching out to our wonderful school community for help to keep this initiative going!

We welcome donations of tinned fruit, breakfast cereals, bread, spreads, Milo, hot chocolate and other breakfast supplies. Every little bit helps, and even a small donation can make a difference.

⛺🔦🎒👚 GEAR LIST for Tui Ridge Park Camp...

Our Term 4 camps at Tui Ridge Park are not far away now - please check out the attached list of what to pack.

Please take some time to go through this with your child to ensure they have everything they need. We encourage students to be involved in packing their own bags so they know what they have brought and where to find it. We strongly suggest that all gear is named 🙂

🐑🐮 Cambridge Students Agricultural Club Group Day - Friday 23 October.

This year Te Miro School will have the pleasure of hosting Group Day on Friday 23 October, at Te Miro School, 443 Te Miro Road, Cambridge.

⏰ Gates open 8:30am, Registrations 9:30am, Judging commences 10:00am.

🏏🏏🏏 Cricket refresh at CMS...

We have had a lot of work done on all things cricket at CMS over the past month.

We are thankful for the investment from the Board in upgrading our cricket net surfaces and surrounding netting. We have also worked with Cambridge Cricket Club and Sport Waikato to have our old cricket pitch removed and a new one is being laid. Thank you to everyone who has made this happen 💙
