Due to staff training this week, each of the libraries will be closed for a morning and opening at 1pm.

On Wednesday 3rd, Cambridge Library will open at 1pm (Te Awamutu Library will open on Wednesday at 9am as usual).

On Thursday 4th, Te Awamutu Library will open at 1pm (Cambridge Library will open on Thursday at 9am as usual). This will mean there is no Storytime session at Te Awamutu Library on Thursday morning this week.

The Jigsaw Puzzle Art Contest is back at Te Awamutu Library for 2026 - come into the library and grab a bag of old puzzle pieces (and a flier with the key dates and size limits) and get crafty! We have 4 different age groups (including adults) with prizes to be won!

Remember folks - at 11 am today Open Mic begins at Cambridge Library, so come visit and listen to some local talent - or share your own!

If you have an instrument feel free to bring it along; performances needn't be vocal.

Unfortunately, due to staff illness, there will be no session of Toddler Time today 28 May 2026 at Cambridge Library. Te Awamutu Library will still run a session as usual. Sorry for the short notice and inconvenience.

This Saturday we are holding our annual open mic at Cambridge Library, starting at 11am. We will also have a performance showcase from the students at GatSong - so come on down and sing (or play) a tune! Otherwise, come and listen to some local talent and relax a while at this free community event.

Unfortunately due to staff illness, there will be no session of Wriggle and Rhyme tomorrow (May 26th) at Cambridge Library. Te Awamutu Library will still run a session as usual.

As a result of our efforts last Wednesday, Cambridge Library has many books for sale and we need them GONE! Mostly non-fiction, pop by the Cambridge Library with a bag or a box and fill it for $2 (while we still have books to spare).

The Cambridge Library is closed today for us to continue to optimise our use of space in the building. We will reopen tomorrow on Thursday May 7th - Te Awamutu library is open as usual today.
