Good morning everyone. Thank you for the first day support. Its great to keep meeting people. We have had an interesting suggestion and want to get some feedback. The idea of have an area for a couch to sit inside, have a coffee, read a book etc seems appealling. Would this type of area be used much? Please let us know.
Most of the shop is restocked now. Will have pet food, ice blocks and ice by next week.. we havent forgotten our gluten free whanau. We will be building up those products too. 🤩 Take care out there, stay warm. 😁👍

Good morning everyone. We now have eftpos 🥳🎉
Thanks for your patience while this was being set up. Now for improved internet!
The team are ready to start hot meals again and are making great coffees.☕️
The plan for next week is to stock ice cream/iceblocks. 🥶 i know right? Even at this time of year we are being asked for them so.... its happening.
Lollies are in and more arriving on Tuesday.
We will keep growing the grocery lines.

Hi everyone, we will be open tomorrow 9-5. 🥳🎉We will do our best for the community and welcome ideas to improve services. At present our hours will be 9-5 Monday - Saturday and 9-2 on Sundays. 🕔 As the shop grows, so will the hours. We are interested to know if people would like a late night on Thursdays or Fridays for takeaways. 🍔🍟Let us know.
We are hoping to have eftpos up and running by the weekend so at present we can do cash 💰 or internet banking. Sorry for the delay in getting it sorted, its quite a process. 🤦‍♀️
We wont be having tick ups.
We will continue with the few accounts that have a proven history with the store. The list is very small.
We are looking forward to being part of the very welcoming community. Thank you to all of you who have introduced yourselves already. 🤩

It's with great pleasure and yes relief that the community of Onga Onga will continue to have it's General Store. Shelley and Bevan Smith will take over on the 8th of June the shop will be closed from the 6th and reopen on the 9th. I'm sure you will all welcome and support them as Onga does. Yes we are in trying economic times, but please try to because our type of shop is a dying breed, but with your help we can keep Shelley and Bevans dreams alive. Leanne will be back 😊 yay so the new line up is looking great .I wish you all the very best for the future, we've enjoyed our time with you, wonderful memories we'll take away along with new friends made along the way. From Cushla, Mike , Jasmine, Leanne, Chelsea, Leslie, Karen and Jess Past and present.

Those who have not paid their overdue accounts and those who have been making times/promises to be paid a list will be displayed at the shop. I won’t be posting on social media but in the shop window it will be displayed 🤷🏻‍♀️ hopefully the power of peer pressure from your friends might encourage you to do the right thing

Just a bit of house keeping
Last week for charge account payments to be paid in full - please come into the shop to pay personally (no bank transfers)
I have given plenty of notice for these in which i made a post about it last year if.
Failure to pay will mean I’m just going to send it to the debt collectors because no effort has been made on your behalf to settle these accounts.

We’re shutting early today so at 4pm kitchen is now closed and we’re opening at 10am tomorrow morning ☺️ thank you for all the support and such an awesome day. Time for us to have a well deserved break ☺️
