Sow a Seed and Make a Day started in 2012 and this year expands to offer people a chance to distribute sunflowers amongst their friends, neighbours and wherever with the aim to brighten up damaged streets, suburbs that need a boost.

Sow a Seed project is well underway... in all sorts of places
Here are some examples:
Cafes doing it with children as an activity, school children sharing in their community, shops handing them out with purchases, residents sharing in their street... youth groups passing around, a rest home packaging them up...

A5 recycled paper folded, packed with a few seeds, sealed with the awesome label and ready to share, give, whatever... We have 50,000 seeds, labels, bags,and DLE flyers to advertise.

THIS IS A FREE INITIATIVE funded by some good sorts, including the Rotary Neighbourhood Project, Pakworld , and others. While it covers most of the costs any donations are welcomed especially as we anticipate having to get more produced.

It is all go, we have seeds, bags, labels, and flyers to promo the Sow a Seed NZ project.

Please note some key features:
It is designed so that you can embrace it in whatever way you wish, and that is how it will work best.
WE provide the seeds, labels, flyers and packets
YOU collect them, and package and then distribute them

YOU can have them on your shop counter, share them down your street or lane, arrange the classes at school to take to all your local community, ... choose the scale and way you want to approach it

NOW is the time to get going, as it is generally 12 weeks till they really become big

Here is the lowdown, for any group that wants to be a part of it...
We provide Seeds, Flyers, labels, and bags are optional

You pack the seeds, label, stamp with your own mark if you want to and then get out there and share

INFO
Seeds provided by 250,500,750, 1000 approx

PACKAGING
Create your own from recycled paper, fold half A4,
and fold in edges, seal over the folded flaps and the
open end with label...
PS Place seeds inside before sealing edges!

or,
Light paper bags available and supplied in 50’s

LABELS
Labels provided with split back to remove
to seal bags and packs. Supplied in 50’s
They are 140mm x 80mm and designed to seal your A5 paper folded to make a bag, or will seal bags we can provide

DLE FLYERS
These outline the project and enable you to get info out there
