Join in for a fun-filled afternoon celebrating the music, style, and nostalgia of the 1950s. Dance along to live entertainment from Chet & Melissa and soak up the retro diner atmosphere.

Love Clevedon and have a little time, a particular skill or simply want to get more involved in the community?

The Clevedon Association is looking for volunteers to help with a range of projects, from the Santa Parade, Clevedon Art Trail and ANZAC Commemoration to The Clevedon Roundup, community events, CCTV, Mainstreet flags and more.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, and many tasks are flexible and can be done from home. You might help coordinate suppliers, organise advertising, work with sponsors, liaise with Council, contribute to publications or simply help bring an idea to life.

We’re also looking for people to help get some exciting projects off the backburner, including Whenua Month, the Love Clevedon Calendar, a new residents evening and a Twilight Market Community Movie Night.

Our goal is to build a small team around each project, so no one person has to do it all.

There are stories hiding all around Clevedon. In the places we pass every day, the buildings we’ve grown used to seeing, and the landscapes that have watched generations come and go.

Now, a new 8km Heritage Walking Trail invites us to slow down and discover them. The Clevedon Village Heritage Trail connects 19 historic sites around the village, from McNicol Homestead Museum to Te Nikau Pa, the Post Office to the Wairoa River.

Follow the trail map and stop at the markers along the way to scan the QR codes and uncover the stories, photographs and people behind each place.

The trail is open to the community now, and is a chance to see Clevedon through a different lens, and to remember that the places we call home have stories worth knowing.

Featuring the award-winning CAMA Ensemble, Majors ‘n’ Minors, the Clevedon Crooners from Clevedon School, and Tuakau College Choir — with more than 70 musicians taking to the stage.
