Colville Public Hall

Colville Public Hall Colville Public Hall was established in 1931. This isolated, rural community formed a committee, appointed trustees, raised funds and built the hall.

Additions and improvements have been made over the years giving us a beautiful community hall. Trestle tables, meeting tables, chairs, kitchen facility. Air conditioning/heating. Water purifier for clean drinking water. Currently, no cooking facilities but appliances may be brought in. Large T-pots, cups, zip etc. Small fridge. 3 phase power. Circuits for lighting and stage power points. Stage risers available.

Colville Hall is looking fabulous with work from 21 Creators and Makers installed. We had a great day today making flags and eating some yummy food thanks to Four Square Coromandel for donating that. Thanks also to Creative Communities for financial assistance with funding. Tomorrow we will be experimenting with 'air-dry clay', beads, more flags and painting some shells and stones.

Thanks to the wonderful artist Vonny Ball for supervision of the children today painting rocks. Thanks also to the fabulous people who came to the working Bee. Great company, great food and a great job done in just 2 hours. And a huge thank you to Power Co for the funding that has enabled us to get our new wide concrete path, lovely planters, the super seat and have the working bee picnic with our community.
