Box Day this week at Dargaville mainly music. Wednesday 3rd June, 10am, 185 Victoria St.

Why a box day? Well, playing with a simple box provides preschoolers with rich open-ended learning. It develops spatial awareness and gross motor skills, fosters imaginative role-playing, and builds early engineering and problem-solving capabilities. Furthermore, it encourages language skills as children narrate their play and negotiate scenarios with peers.
And who doesn’t love Jack in the Box.

What a beautiful session celebrating Mother’s Day together this week. 💛

Motherhood is one of the hardest callings, yet also one of the most rewarding. We loved honouring mums and mother figures—recognising the unseen work, deep love, and sacrifices you make.

We also acknowledge that this day isn’t easy for everyone, and we’re so grateful to share this space with you, whatever your journey looks like 🤍

We had an unplanned move into the main auditorium which everyone coped with very well. Same songs, same people, same routine = lots of fun and learning together. The team comes each week with a purpose - to provide a safe space where you can nurture your children or the children you have a relationship with. We want to provide a place where your children can flourish. We want to provide a place where you can feel appreciated and encouraged as a parent or carer. We call this a joy-filled community of belonging. We hope each week you feel you’ve been welcomed, encouraged, listened to, and that you leave with a spring in your step for whatever happens in the week ahead.

The story would be narrated during a solemn morning of REFLECTION on Good Friday 9:30am. Then, the same story transfigures into a celebration of HOPE because of Jesus Christ's RESURRECTION on Sunday 10am.
