Week 7 Sports Events 🏀

Wednesday this week will be a big one. We have a league and football double-header at home before the first games of the Championship Round for our netball teams down at Sportsville.

Our junior and senior rugby 10’s boys and top table tennis players compete at their tournaments on Thursday in Whangārei, and we cap the week with our senior boys basketball team taking on Northland College at home on Friday night.

See you on the sidelines!

The DHS Rugby Academy would like to acknowledge former student and Northland Kauri #153, Pohutukawa Kakara, who continues to give back to the school by volunteering her time to help coach the girls and mentor her younger sisters. We are grateful for her commitment to developing the next generation of players and for being such a positive role model within our rugby whānau.

Thanks 'Kawa!

A group of our student leaders had a great day meeting with student leaders from Rodney, Otamatea, Bream Bay and Ruawai. Our students were amazing ambassadors for our school. Quick little stop at Ruakaka beach was a nice way to finish the day.
