🤔Do you recognise this Feilding local?

Many people in our community will remember Dr Peter Broad, whether as a trusted family doctor, a volunteer, a mentor, or simply someone who always gave his time to others.

After serving in the Middle East during World War II, Dr Broad returned home to build a remarkable career in medicine. He began practising in Feilding in 1948 and spent the next 35 years caring for local families, while also helping shape medical training and services across the district.

We are sharing this photograph from our heritage collection and would be delighted to hear your memories. Did Dr Broad care for your family? Do you have a story or recollection you would like to share?

✨To help preserve these memories for future generations, we encourage you to add your comments directly to the Feilding & District Heritage website, where they can become part of the permanent archive alongside this photograph.

👉📍View the photo and share your memories here: https://www.feildingheritage.nz/item/4e880f55-bd04-41b0-8f10-6e56c914ce77

Every memory adds another piece to our district's story.
