WHITEBAIT SEASON IS OPEN - Rangers were out and about yesterday to ensure people were waiting for official season and pleased to say we had no issues yay! As Ranger Dave says, looking after the awa and the species having a good time and a good feed!

Be safe out there can see the awa has provided some access challenges after recent flooding.
If need a refresher on the rules visit https://www.doc.govt.nz/parks-and-recreation/things-to-do/fishing/whitebaiting/
