A REMINDER FROM THE WBA
We would like to remind all teams that we are now well past the halfway point of the season, and there are still some players who have not completed their registration.
Effective immediately, players whose names do not appear on the official team scoresheet will not be permitted to take the court.
This policy ensures fairness for the teams and players who have followed the required registration process.
Please make sure that parents and guardians are aware of this requirement to avoid any embarrassment or disappointment on game day if an unregistered player is unable to participate.

🌸 Grandparents & Grandfriends Day - This Thursday 3rd Sept 🌸

We would love for you to join us at school as we celebrate and honour these very special people. We warmly invite all grandparents and grandfriends to take part in the day’s events.

📅Schedule of The Day

🕙 10:00 a.m. — Gates Open
The Student Council will be at the main gate on Massey Street and the gate by the signalised crossing on R***e Range Road to welcome you.

🎶 10:15 a.m. — Performances by our Kapa Haka, Choir and Jump Jam teams.

👋 11:00 a.m. — Say Hello!
Find your mokopuna/grandchildren in the playground.

☕ 11:20 a.m. — Tea Time
Join us for a cup of tea in the hall.

🏫 11:40 a.m. — Classroom Visits
Visit your grandchildren’s classrooms and see where they learn each day.

🕧 1:00 p.m. — Event Ends
Classroom visits will finish.

We look forward to sharing this special day with our wonderful grandparents and grandfriends and creating treasured memories together. 💕

Get ready for a day of imagination, fun and fantastic characters! 🎉

Thursday 10th September is our Book Character Day! Students are invited to come to school dressed as their favourite book character. 📖🦸‍♀️🧙‍♂️🐻

And that’s not all… 💃🕺
We’ll also be having a Book Character Disco on the same day! Come dressed as your favourite book character and get ready to dance the day away!

🎭 Middle 2 Oral Language Presentations 🎭

Our Year 4 students have been showing incredible determination, courage and reliability as they worked together in groups to prepare and present small plays to an audience. 🌟

Today, we held our Middle 2 Oral Language Presentation finals, where some of our students had the opportunity to perform their plays using expression, gestures, props and costumes. 🎬👏

We are incredibly proud of every Year 4 student for their participation, teamwork and courage in stepping outside their comfort zone and performing in front of an audience.

Well done, Year 4! You should all be very proud of yourselves! 💙❤️

Dear Parents, Caregivers and Whaanau,

Our 5, 6 and 7 year olds are getting ready for their Cross Country! 🎉

📍 Frankton School Field

Students are to wear their school uniform to school that day, but can bring a change of clothes to run in. These can be in their house colours. Please ensure all belongings are clearly named and packed in a bag.

👟 Students who would like to wear running shoes can bring them along. Bare feet are also fine.

❤️ Whaanau are warmly invited to come along and support our runners! There will be designated areas for whaanau to watch from, so please make your way to one of these areas on the main school field.

We look forward to seeing you there and cheering on our tamariki! 🌟🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
